Original DURASTRAP bespoke Natural & Bison leather tie-down straps are made from the finest, and most durable, imported full-grain saddle leather. Our straps are Ideally suited for high-profile vehicles, such as Luxury SUVs, Crossover, Classic Cars, Off-Road Trucks, Jeeps, Bronco, Land Rover, Woodies, VW Bus, and Transporter Vans. Equally suited for smaller profile vehicle roof racks such as VW Beetle, VW Type 3, Karmann Ghia, Porsche 356 and Porsche 911 & 012, and even lightweight Single Wheel Trailers.

Each set of leather straps includes 2 complete straps (consisting of 4 pieces in total) measuring 1-1/2 inches wide X 70 inches long X 9/10 oz. leather thickness.

What you should expect from our DURASTRAP NATURAL Artisan leather. 
We use only the finest leather. Its unique artisanal nature produces some of the sturdiest, most durable leathers available. Over time, and from exposure to natural elements, our leather will darken to a rich color while acquiring a wonderful and natural patina that only enhances the look and character of the straps. Our leather is naturally tanned. We never use dye. ALL leather dyes fade as soon as they are exposed to sunlight. If taken care of, leather will last a lifetime. For this reason, we offer you FREE cleaning and conditioning.

    Beyond expectations, genuinely! Quality beyond looks....professional workmanship! With a minimum of maintenance, these straps will last for decades; beyond the life expectancy of our restored VW. Beautiful product!

    I am the owner of a classic 1961 Willys Wagon with an old school wood and stainless roof rack. After scouring the internet for over 2 years for complementary leather luggage straps up to my standards for authenticity, appearance, and functionality, I found Mark’s gorgeous creations at “The Vdubhub.” It was clear from the photos and talking with Mark that these handmade straps are high quality, highly functional pieces of art. For the quality of these bespoke straps, the value is incredible. They arrived carefully packaged and oiled, and installation was self-explanatory. The custom straps I ordered are adjustable in length over a huge span and I would imagine can fit most roof rack applications in a variety of configurations limited only by one’s imagination. Communication with Mark was easy and enjoyable and the website is well done and easy to navigate.
