The VDH Baja Hoodies, also known as Drug Rugs, first became popularized in the early 60s and 70s by California Surfers. In persuit of the perfect wave would cross the the U.S. - Mexico through San Diego and head South into Baja. Beaches were filled with Volkswagen buses. s a hooded flannel jacket made in a yarn-dyed shell fabric, quilted Taffeta lining and a fleece hood.
