Inspired by early Porsche 356, Porsche Spider and Outlaw models, our DURASTRAP measures a fat 2" wide X 35.5" long, fitting perfectly within the notched groove of the inner rim. Each strap is handcrafted here in California to the highest degree, using Top Grain saddle leather and accented stitching, copper rivets and chrome plated buckles as part of our commitment to making all our DURASTRAP products to the highest standards. Some might say this is overkill, but to us, it's the details that set us apart from everyone else. We supply all the hardware necessary to mount your strap. You will need to drill 2 small holes directly in front of the gas tank ledge. We've shown the strap mounted to a typical VW beetle with a hump style gas tank, This product is for Volkswagens1960 and older. This strap will also work on Volkswagen Karmann Ghia, providing it has the Hump style gas tank.
