Inspired by the early Porsche 356, Porsche Spider and Outlaw models that reflect an era of European Rally and Track racing in the truest spirit.
The DURASTRAP 3-Point tire strap is designed to easily fit most Volkswagen Beetle models up to 1967 and only takes a few minutes to install, using a simple socket wrench.
DURASTRAPS are handcrafted here in California to the highest degree. We don't cut corners by manufacturing in Asia or the Middle East. We use premium Italian leather hides and black Buffalo hide, accented with contrasting stitching, hand-pounded copper rivets, and stainless steel buckles. We've supplied all the necessary hardware to mount your strap. You will NOT need to drill any holes into your car's bodywork to mount these straps, this strap utliizes your car's existing bumper bracket bolts. We've shown the strap mounted in a typical beetle.
Please NOTE that leather is a natural, organic material. With exposure to sunlight and natural elements, the leather will eventually darken, achieving a rich and desirable patina finish not possible with man-made artificial leather.
